It is a shame this site in not a national monument because the family who privately owns it, under delivers the experience. The site itself is amazing and it IS the best preserved impact site on planet earth. However the museum is mediocre , the literature they give you is garbage with a bunch of estimations with little scientific facts, and the movie they show you is a redundant joke. For $18.00, go and see and judge for yourself. Like I said an amazing place , but it is evident that this is privately owned and not a national monument .
