Monte Perdido Peak and Marbore cylinder

One most important and the highest altitude lying mountains in Gavarnie and Ordesa valleys, is the Marbore which is 3248 meters high. It dominates the Gavarnie cirque with its great appearance, which is then less visited and often ignored. The mountain is located in the center of the normal track leading to Gavarnie and Ordesa, however the pathway is often dread for being dangerous so the climbers and mountaineers tend to go for alternate ways that lead to such peaks as Cilindro (3328 meters high), Perdido (3355 meters high), Torre (3009 meters high), Taillon (3144 meters high) and the Casco (3006 meters high).
