Right off 93S, the falls are very accessible. There is a small parking area and a nice area to walk along the river. There is a pit toilet available for travelers at the end of the parking area. Parcs Canada has taken the precaution to fence off an accessway to view the full splendor of the falls due to a recent large slab of rockwall collapse into the falls destroying the bridge that crossed the river. Remnants of the bridge can be seen from a precarious overlook by bypassing the fenced off area. The water is clearly winning his battle with the rock, and clear evidence can be seen of the erosive effects along the large rocks ahead of and in the direct impact area of the river. Clearly viewable are large circular pockets that have been carved out of the hard granite by the flowing river. Beautiful stop, but caution should be heeded - the rocks are slippery and the area beyond the fence is hazardous walking. Lives can be lost, if not careful.
