Oak Street Beach at 1000 N. Lake Shore Drive close the neighbourhoods of Gold Coast / Streeterville at Oak Street and Lake Michigan.
This popular summer hotspot offers beach-goers amenities including Oak Street Beach Café chair rentals, food and beverage choices, bicycle rentals, volleyball rentals, restrooms and a stunning view of the city skyline. This beach hosts a number of famous summer volleyball amateur and professional tournaments. Distance swimming from Division Street to the Chess Pavilion (20 yards south of the buoys) is accessible parallel to the coast. There is an accessible beach walk from the ADA. Nearby there is restricted parking on the road.
If you're searching for an easy way to get to the beach, the Lake Shore Drive and Division corner has an underground tunnel entrance. Once on the other hand, owing to some kind of refurbishment, lots of fencing around the perimeter region into water. Look for points of entry as you walk along the path. Careful passage of the path.
