Oud-Alblas

This place is one former municipality in the province of Zuid, Holland. It lies some kilometers distance up from the Papendrecht while being a part of Graafstroom municipality since 1986.

The flag is green with yellow ‘hoist triangle’ which reaches to about two third of the flag length. The triangle is incorporated with five black lozenges that as placed in the range of the flag, while 3 of the tablets in the vertical direction reaching one-sixth of the length and two lozenges in a vertical row of about eleven thirtieth part of the flag length. This has been adopted since 18th of April, 1977 while the design being municipality itself.

The green color symbolizes for water, that is the small Alblas river while triangles and lozenges are to represent municipal arms.
