Winter snow shoeing in Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso

Beautiful park in the north west of Italy. Stunning landscapes and well preserved paths, accurately signalled. This nationalpark is very suitable for long walks among high snowcovered Mountains, green Valleys and waterfalls. Paths are well maintained and easy to find. You can fo for days and days in these Mountains, as there are operated huts and cabins many Places where you can get something to eat and drink (and sleep over). We did several walks in the different valleys (Valsigrenche, Valsavarenche, Cogne) and they were fantastic witohout exception. Lillaz waterfalls - beautiful waterfalls and although the hike is steep there is also a track in the valley suitable for the less able. Pont - Valsavarenche - We did route number 3 from Pont to the hut (a hike of about 2.5-3 hours) and back along route number 9 and the last part 3B back to Pont. It's a place were you can unwind and let off all the stress that you accumulate through out the year! I consider this place as a taste of heaven on earth!!!!
