Perranporth beach is an incredibly vast beach that stretches for miles leading to to Perran Sands.
When the tide is out Perran Sands can be reached by foot or across the cliffs and sand dunes.
It's easily accessible starting from the village, which is ideal if you have young people in tow and you can just plunge on the sand near the village, put down your beach towels and relax. During the main holiday seasons, the beach cafe, The Watering Hole, serves snacks and drinks. If the tide is right out, do justice to the place and walk up to Ligger Point, just a2-mile jaunt away.
The beach is open to dogs most of the year with the exception of summer months where you will have to go after 5 to let them off the lead. Being situated on the North coast of Cornwall Perranporth beach offers a great surf location and has cafe on the beach (open day and night). Easy beach parking, an additional cliff car park and also a bigger car park found not far from the Beach and Coop (town).
