Pont du Gard Bridge

Located in Occitanie, between Nîmes, Uzès and Avignon, this wonder of the ancient world is a showcase of technical prowess with its extraordinary scale, as well as magical site that has been reclaimed by nature since it was renovated in the 2000s.

This is a really great experience to see this masterpiece of Roman architecture. Parking amenities are very accessible. A good mix of history and nature. Roads and museum and facility are huge in February nearly empty. In July and August more people but not that bad. I recommand you crossed over to the Rive Droite and then climbed up to the very top to look along the bridge and down to the river.
