Located in the Oman sea, Port of Beris is one of the most beautiful places that I have ever seen in my life. Beris Fishing port is located in a village in Sand-e Mir Suiyan Rural District, Dashtiari District, Chabahar County, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Iran. The rocky cliffs that overlook the sea give the area a dramatic look, and make this place look like an illustration from a book. Port of Beris has a good strategic position, and it is an important fishing center, providing the area with seafood.
The sea here is deep, and it's not recommended for beginner swimmers. Port of Beris is surrounded by golden-reddish beaches, although this is not a typical touristic spot.
A lot of people from the surrounding villages have moved here because of the excellent fishing opportunities, so its population is growing day by day. Chabahar is the warmest place in Iran during the winter and the entire scenery is breathtaking. Coming here is not something a fancy tourist who looks for luxury and comfort would do. Visitors who come to Chandahar and Port of Beris are adventurous and ready to adapt to whatever they run into on the way. The people of this village are hospitable and friendly, and they speak the Balochi language. Despite the language barrier, you will still get to manage to communicate with them and get everything you need as long as they can provide it.
Port of Beris in Chabahar is one of the most secluded places on earth, although very welcoming for visitors if they ever come. Exploring the sand dunes, hiking in the surrounding landscapes that look like a part of a movie set is a unique experience that everyone who comes to Iran must live at least for a day. The local fish specialties are delicious and worth the travel.
