Trip to Morro Branco Canyon

Morro Branco And Prais dos Fuentes are approx. 40 km east of Fortaleza, a journey which is definitely worthwhile. In Morro Branco you can walk through a labyrinth of solid, coloured sand formations reaching from terra cotta red over bright yellow to pink which ressembles a small version of the Grand Canyon. These formations are at the back of the 2 beaches and you can enjoy them while relaxing there or swimming or having a bite of grilled langusta and a Caipirinha. A nice place in Littoral Este, not so far from Fortaleza and lot more beautiful than the beaches there!
