This was a fun trail. We stopped on a flat rock near water to have a short picnic about 1/4 of the way through, and then again for a snack next to a river later on, so there were definitely a few nice areas to sit and relax. We also climbed down to a small pool of calm water that looked like it would have been great for swimming. Lots of diversity on the trail. You can seek out areas where two rivers converge and the volume of rushing water/rapids are really impressive. There are also several additional "waterfalls" and small "caves" you can climb up to if there has been sufficient rain (you have to cross the river to do so). The Cave Family Cemetary on the fire road is a neat stop near the end of the loop. Great hike!
