Salt Lake Fuencaliente

Salinas Marinas de Fuencaliente is in a beautiful remote location. The drive down there might be a bit dramatic as it led through the most recent lava fields of the island. The salt mines have a nice self-guided walk with plaques in several languages which explain each stage of the salt mining process. It takes about 30min. The scenery is striking and the natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere of the place very enjoyable. We are at the restaurant right there and enjoyed our trip.   This place also has a very modern cafe/restaurant on sight with beautiful views. On top of that next to the lighthouse. Entry of parking and light of the teneguía volcano.
