Shaddox hollow trail is a nice loop through a typical Ozark forest. Some nice rock formations, small creek. As typical it is a rocky trail. It is well layed out. This is a very well maintained loop down to the water's edge on Beaver Lake. It has an elevation loss/ gain of perhaps 300 feet. Trail use is light, never more than a few people at a time on the trail. This trail has no water or restroom facilities the way some do in Hobbs. The parking lot is gated, and open only during daylight hours.
