I have climbed Snowdon twice in my life, I would recommend it to anyone looking for an adventure or challenge into the nature. This will require a good degree of fitness but likewise you don't have to climb to the top to say you have been there. Car park we paid £10 for the day there was a cheaper £5 but we wanted to make sure we did not have to rush. The car park has toilet facilities, a warden on site as well, the cafe and shop was not open must be seasonal so check as a good cuppa is required on return, to sit and take in the last of the mountain air and beauty before you leave. There is also a pub/hotel opposite this was open for refreshments and food etc but we did not use. There is a train that you can get but we didn't use it so cannot comment on this either, a good relaxing way to see the mountain if you are less able though. A bus service does run to here as well.
