Cornwall is not short of attractions, but St. Michael's mount has got to be near the top of most people's 'must see' list on a visit to this beautiful county. If you drive west from London, ultimately you’ll get to the Land’s End, in Cornwall.
This dreamy, fairy tale island stands boastfully in Mount Bay joined to Marazion by a sandy road that is only accessible at low tide, so do check the tide times before your visit if you want to want to walk across. Otherwise, you will need to take a local boat for a small fee.
