This beach is popular among the locals and holidaymakers who stay within walking distance or who want to relax, sunbathe and bathe for a few hours after a day in the city or after strolling through the beautiful alleys of the old town.
The clear water and the great view of the cliffs on the opposite coast make swimming really fun here.
The only downside is that there are no lifeguards on duty.
On weekends the beach can be very crowded and in summer there is therefore often already no entry at noon.
Finding parking: Normally there are enough parking spaces on the side streets around the old town.
Getting to the beach from the car park: On the footpath through the old town, follow the signs in the direction of the Old Harbour.
