Swimming pool at the Sesriem Canyon campsite

Perfectly located at the entrance to Sossusvlei within the park gate is Sesriem Camping, a short drive from Sesriem Canyon and right next to the desert gate. It's perfect for campers who want to experience the beauty of the Namib Desert with the sun setting over the Elim dune and then the stars emerging until they fill the sky above you and click the desert barking Geckos and distance away. Sit by the fire and imagine what you're going to do. After a good night's rest early (one hour before sunrise) for a drive to the sossusvlei where you can climb a sand dune and watch the colors change as the sun rises over the horizon slipping over the Namib desert dunes.

20 Camping sites in the shades of ancient camel thorn trees The camp sites at Seriem are located on the edge of the deserts each with its own tree, inside the Namib Naukluft Park there is a unique place to enjoy the sounds of the desert night as the Geckos and insects sing to you to sleep. Well spaced camp sites with a water tap for Fire Place / Braai / BBQ, rubbish bins for animals and a low wall surrounding each site. There are showers and toilets available for Clean Ablutions. In the center of the camp, a swimming pool allows you to cool off and relax in the midday heat, while the bar serves cold drinks.
