Telluride Mountain Village Gondola

What a great experience! This was the most enjoyable free public transportation system ever! We rode the Gondola from Mountain Village (we parked in the nearby lot) and then road the Gondola system down to Telluride. Gosh, what great views and it's all free! You can even load your bike up or take your dog in one of the pet-friendly gondolas. This gondola ride is broken into 3 stops . . . get off at the first stop and process to the next gondola area. From there, you can hop off at stop #2 (which is the top of the mountain; lots of trails and beautiful views) or continue riding to stop #3 at Telluride. I think the whole thing takes about 15-20 minutes.
