The swing of the Elysian Park is a wonderful location to enjoy a picturesque view of Los Angeles with a lot of walking trails and areas for activities, such as soccer, etc. The park also has a great view of the L.A. skyline and Dodgers Stadium. his is LA’s oldest park and although it is a little worn around the edges, it is a welcome respite from the urban sprawl. Park hours are usually between 8 am and 9 pm, but in the summer the sun drops much sooner.
To get to the Hidden Swing you only need a about five minutes long but steep and rough hike. Bring a robust couple of sneakers to the hiking portion and then switch to the boots you want to wear for pictures. Whatever you do, in flip flops or sandals you do not try to walk there.
