Located just off Highway #1 in Surrey, Tynehead Regional Park is a popular park for cycling, picnics, dog walking, or exploring the upper Serpentine River. The area has two sides to the park, there is a perimeter bike trail on the east side called the Serpentine Hills and hiking trails on the west side and the Serpentine Hatchery. We're going to focus on the park's west side.
A wide paved loop, great if you've got a scooter or a bike. Not a ton of shade, so on hotter days it gets hot. One stretch of the path is right by the highway and can get really noisy (to the point where the person next to you is hard to hear). Lots of people all the time on this trail.
