I loved walking this trail. It's basically just a path that circles along the pond area on the UC Davis campus. It is regularly pretty populated and absolutely not strenuous at all. The Arboretum gardens are open 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and there is no charge for admission. The Arboretum has something for everyone. Trees and plants are labeled for self-guided tours.
