Visit the Hermosa Beach Pier

Hermosa Beach Pier provides an opportunity for visitors to Hermosa Beach to walk across Santa Monica Bay and look back to the Los Angeles area. The Manhattan Beach Pier is visible to the north from the pier and to the south is the King Harbor at Redondo Beach. There are many sand volleyball courts on Hermosa City Beach near the pier. There are shops and restaurants of all kinds in a pedestrian-only area called Pier Plaza at the entrance to Hermosa Beach Pier. In this busy little town, many more businesses line Pier Ave and Hermosa Ave. When they would pull the lines out of the water the fish would sometimes fall off the line and the sea lion was there to catch it.A big surprise though is that most meters on Hermosa Blvd only accepted coins and not debit cards however It's good for 3 hours.
