Ernest E. Debs Park is a beautiful 5 + mile loop through almost every section of this hidden park near the Arroyo Seco. There are plenty of birds here, and the air is likely to be filled with birdsong as you walk its mostly easy-graded trails and fire roads. Mostly dog-friendly, this park has picnic and fishing facilities as well as a top-notch Audubon Center with lots of activities for kids and kids-at-heart. A great destination for the family or a place to hike quickly if you can't make it out anymore. There is plenty of parking and this park is dog friendly. It's also usually not too crowded. The paths are not too steep and there are a number of rest areas. There's also a pond along the trail, which is pretty cool and you'll have a chance to see some ducks. If you're looking for a longer hike, I recommend starting from the very bottom at Monterey Road.
