The path along the gorge provided one of the best pieces of scenery I have ever seen (and I have been to some beautiful places)! We paid $8 to park at the bottom. We took the shuttle to the top ($5/pp) and we walked down. It is about 1-1/2 miles down, including a total of about 800 steps. If you are physically able to walk both up and down the trail, that is great; however, if not the $18 (for two people) was WELL worth the money. 1. It is extremely packed and busy - has also a nearby campground which doesn't help 2. The trails are finished - concrete/stone pathways which makes it less natural
